Aadhaar Enrolment Status

After enrolling at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) or Permanent Enrolment Centre (PEC), you receive an acknowledgement slip containing a 28-digit Enrolment ID (EID).
Checking the enrolment status helps confirm whether your Aadhaar number has been generated. The processing time generally ranges from 10 to 90 days.

Aadhaar Update Status

When you update Aadhaar details online or at an enrolment centre, you receive an Update Request Number (URN) or EID.

The myAadhaar portal is the official and most reliable way to track Aadhaar status.

• Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Click on “Check Enrolment or Update Status”

• Enter your 28-digit EID / URN / SRN / SID
• Enter the captcha code
• Click Submit to view the current status

You will see updates such as Under Processing or Aadhaar Generated. Once generated, you may receive an SMS or email notification.

2. Aadhaar Card Status Check on mAadhaar Mobile App

The mAadhaar app provides a convenient mobile option for tracking Aadhaar status.

• To Aadhaar Card Status Check Download the mAadhaar app from the Google Play Store or App Store
• Open the app and select your preferred language
• Go to “Enrolment & Update Status”
• Enter your 28-digit EID and captcha
• Tap Check Status

If Aadhaar is generated, you can log in using OTP or TOTP and download your e-Aadhaar directly.

• Download UMANG or visit web.umang.gov.in
• Log in using your registered mobile number or email

• Submit to view your Aadhaar status

• Dial 1947 from your registered mobile number
• Follow the IVR instructions
• Select the option for enrolment or update status
• Enter your Enrolment ID (EID) when prompted

The system will announce your current Aadhaar status.

What to Do If EID or URN Is Lost?

If you have lost your acknowledgement slip:

• Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

• Request and verify OTP

Step-by-Step Process to Check Aadhaar PVC Card Status:

1. Visit the Official UIDAI Portal
   Go to the UIDAI My Aadhaar PVC Status page.

1. Enter Your SRN (Service Request Number)
   • The SRN is a 14-digit number you received when you ordered your PVC Aadhaar card.
   • It is also sent via SMS or email confirmation after payment.
2. Enter Your Aadhaar Number (or Virtual ID)
   Provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number, VID, or EID as requested.
3. Complete the CAPTCHA Verification
   Enter the security code displayed on the screen.
4. Click on “Check Status”
   You’ll see the current Aadhaar PVC card order status, such as:
   • Payment Successful / Under Process
   • Card Dispatched by India Post
   • Delivered
5. Track Delivery via India Post
   Once UIDAI dispatches your PVC card, you can track its delivery through the India Post website using the AWB (tracking) number shown in the status details.
